It’s a full-blown summer experience that kicks off on Friday, May 23, right at the Alamogordo Public Library. To ensure the fun starts strong, a free petting zoo will be available from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Yes, you read that right—books and baby goats, all in the same place.

Weekly Fun: Story Time and More

The Alamogordo Public Library knows how to keep kids engaged. On Tuesday, June 17, and Wednesday, June 18, children from preschool through 5th grade can enjoy Story Time—a joyful hour of books, imagination, and perhaps a few silly voices. It’s a great way for children to develop listening skills, grow their vocabulary, and simply enjoy the art of storytelling.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, June 18, the library is also hosting Nutrition Workshops. Think of it as a way to feed both the mind and the body. These workshops are perfect for families looking to learn more about healthy eating in a fun and interactive setting. Who knew learning about broccoli could be this entertaining?
