Why does this matter for Alamogordo?
When local employers meet students early, more young people see a path to a good job without leaving town. That helps businesses that are hiring, and it helps families who want their kids to build a future here. It is a small event with a big payoff for the community.
What does this mean if you live here or are moving here?
For parents, it is a good sign of how Alamogordo schools connect students with real careers. If you are moving here with teens, my moving to Alamogordo guide covers schools and daily life, and you can see how local students are doing in my post on Alamogordo area schools named New Mexico Spotlight Schools.
