On Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., The Adventurer's Realm is hosting "Not A Creature Was Stirring," a charity game day and toy drive at the Alamogordo Civic Center, 800 E. 1st St. To play at any of the game stations, you bring a new, unopened child's toy worth $10 or more. Every toy goes to CASA of Otero and Lincoln County for children in need, and Santa is expected to stop by.

I love this one. It turns a fun Saturday of games into Christmas gifts for local kids, and it is a great way for families, teens and gamers of all ages to give back together.

What is the Not A Creature Was Stirring charity event?

It is a holiday-themed game day organized by The Adventurer's Realm, LLC, a local Alamogordo business. According to the event listing, there will be several game stations, food and vendors, free raffles and giveaways, and a visit from Santa.

    What games can I play?

The organizer says a Warhammer expert will be on hand to teach newcomers and answer questions, so you do not need to know how to play before you come.

How does the toy donation work?

To join a game station, bring one new, unopened toy for a child, worth $10 or more. The toys are donated to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates of Otero and Lincoln County). CASA recruits, trains and supports community volunteers who speak up for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court and in the community.

What this means for our community

Events like this are a big part of why I love living here. Local businesses and neighbors step up for kids who need it, and newcomers get an easy, welcoming way to meet people.
